Government flags at Municipal Hall will be flown at half-mast until sunset on Thursday December 6, 2018 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

December 6 is a day to remember the 14 women who lost their lives in Montreal in 1989, and to remind us that women in Canada, and around the world, continue to face disproportionate levels of violence every day. It is also a day for communities to consider concrete actions to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls.
