We are in the detailed design phase of the Gorge Park Pavilion project with local firm Iredale Architecture as the lead consultant and architect group. The design is based on previous public feedback and council direction. We anticipate the building being under construction this summer.
Fall 2019
Staff are developing some initial concept design plans for Gorge Park. This will facilitate further analysis and allow for the development of preliminary capital and operating budget estimates. This work is being undertaken this spring and findings should be reported to Council in early fall.

Council reviewed the evaluated projects and further refined the list of project ideas.
January 2019
Council approved selection criteria for the evaluation and scoring of the multiple projects identified during the two rounds of public engagement and directed staff to apply the selection criteria to the projects.

The Township of Esquimalt and the Capital Regional District Core Area Wastewater Treatment Project Board begin discussions on community amenities associated with locating a wastewater treatment plant at McLoughlin Point in Esquimalt.
