Located next to downtown Victoria, the Township of Esquimalt, with a population of over 17,000, is home to Canada’s Pacific Naval Fleet. The community boasts extensive amenities including beautiful parks and beaches, scenic waterfront walkways as well as modern recreational facilities, schools and commercial services.
The Esquimalt Parks and Recreation is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Auxiliary Custodial Worker position. Reporting to the Recreation Facilities Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning services in the Recreation Centre, Sports Centre, Gorge Pavilion and Park washrooms. Monitor, clean and disinfect changerooms, washrooms, activity rooms, lockers and hallways. Set up rooms for functions. Handle various cleaning materials.
Other preferred qualifications include:
- High school graduation.
- Current and valid Class 5 B.C. Drivers Licence.

Salary: $21.17-$22.86 hourly plus 14% in leu of benefits (2021 rates)
