- One hundred tulip bulbs were planted at Sailor's Walk in November 2011. The bulbs were donated by Henry Sherwood, former Esquimalt parks supervisor.Mayor Desjardins was on hand along with Centennial V
- 100 Centennial tulips in full bloom at Sailor's Walk in April 2012!
- RBC staff volunteering at Esquimalt Community Gardens in April 2012 as part of their Day of Service Grant. RBC was an official sponsor of Esquimalt Centennial 2012, and provided additional sponsorship
- God's Acre Candlelight Tribute Ceremony was held on May 31, 2012
- God's Acre Candlelight Tribute at Gorge Vale Golf Course.

- Will Arnold brings a centennial flair to Bike-to-Work Week, May 28 to June 3, 2012 at the Esquimalt celebration station at Memorial Park.
- Mayor Barbara Desjardins in the Buccaneer Days Parade June 9, 2012.
- Esquimalt Buccaneer Days Parade.
- The centennial logo recreated as a garden by Esquimalt Parks Department. The garden was located next to Municipal Hall.
- The Esquimalt Centennial Golf Tournament on June 21, 2012, was a very popular event. The event included a hole in which hickory clubs were mandatory.
- Fraser Campbell and Band perform "Esquimalt Shines" at Centennial Community Celebration at Gorge Park on September 8th, 2012.
- Daniel Lapp entertains the crowd at the September 8th Centennial Celebration at Gorge Park.
- Mayor and Council at the Commemorative Centennial Council Evening on Wednesday October 3rd, 2012 in Council Chambers.
- The Centennial Memorial Walkway, completed in December 2012.
- Mayor, Council, and members of the Centennial Committee cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the Centennial Memorial Walkway on December 8th, 2012.
