Early summer water savings allow for more days open
The water at the Esquimalt Adventure Park was slated to turn off after Labour Day. The township is charged for water use and as a result the number of days the splash pad is open are based on the year’s budget and consideration of overall water usage.
An unseasonably cold start to summer allowed the township to conserve water normally used for irrigation.
