On March 11, 2011 a devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. One of the cities severely impacted by this disaster was Onagawa. The community of Esquimalt will be collecting funds in aid of Onagawa during Buccaneer Days. Please visit the Onagawa booth at the Archie Browning Sports Centre on June 11 and 12 to donate.

Youth With A Mission Victoria was founded in 1994 and has been located in Esquimalt since 2001. It is a non-profit Christian charity with a stated goal of providing support and relief in crisis situations, of natural or man made disaster, through means of relief and development.
