Tour de Rock Arrival in Esquimalt

Join Township Council and staff in welcoming the Tour de Rock Riders to Esquimalt. This group of dedicated fundraisers will be visiting Esquimalt on the final day of their two-week, 1000 kilometre journey that raises money to fight childhood cancer.  
After cycling the length of Vancouver Island raising funds, give the riders a huge welcome at the Archie Browning Sports Centre on October 6, 2017. 
Approximate arrival time will be 9:10 a.m.
Donations are accepted at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street, open 5:30am-10:30pm. Please make your donation in advance of the event. A cheque presentation of all donations received will be presented at the event.
The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock is a fundraising event that raises money for pediatric cancer research and support programs for children with a history of cancer. The Tour de Rock team cycles from one end of the Vancouver Island to the other, covering 1,000 kilometres and visiting more than 27 generous communities along the way.
