Esquimalt Youth Strategy 2011 Surveys

Please help us with our 2011 Esquimalt Youth Strategy and be entered to WIN some great prizes by completing our strategy survey.
If you are 18 years or younger, please complete the survey for youth, here.

Programs & Services:

Youth Only Friday Nights (Grades 6 - 12)
The Recreation Centre is open for Youth Only every Friday night from 8 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. $2.25 gets you access to the pool, wellness centre, gymnasium and other activities. This is an alcohol, drug and thug free zone. In/outs are not permitted.  

Esquimalt Teen Centre (ETC)
We offer free drop-in programs at the Esquimalt Teen Centre. ETC is located in the blue house on Fraser Street next to the recreation centre. Hours of operation are:

  • Teen Drop-in (13 - 18yrs):
    Thursdays & Saturdays: 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
  • After-School Drop-In (Grades 6 to 8):
    Tuesdays & Thursdays: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    Wednesdays: 2:15 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Wellness Centre
Youth  from the ages of 13-15 years old can work out in the Wellness Centre after completing a youth orientation. Phone 250-412-8500, extension 2204 to book your orientation today.

Aquatics Program
Earn high school graduation credits by completing Lifesaving Society and Red Cross Programs. For more information, contact the Aquatics Department by email or phone  250-412-8506.

Did you know that volunteer hours can be used to fulfill high school CAPP graduation requirements?
