Out of School Care
Esquimalt Recreation Centre offers Out of School Care Programs Licensed by the Vancouver Island Health Authority for School Aged Care. Before and after school care is provided for students attending Macaulay Elementary School, grades K-5.
We will be accepting full day kindergarten students in our before and after school care programs. Please note that children must be attending kindergarten in order to qualify. Registration for the 2010/2011 school is now open. Call 250-412-8500 to reserve your spot.
*** As of, August 16, 2010 After School Care is FULL; space is still available in Before School Care.***

We also accept families receiving a child care subsidy.

OSC Before School Care
Prior to being walked to Macaulay School for the beginning of the school day, your child will participate in crafts, board games, creative play and other quiet games. Children are welcome to bring their own breakfast if they choose.

OSC After School Care
Children are picked up at Macaulay School at the end of the school day and walked back to the Esquimalt Recreation Centre where a healthy afternoon snack is provided. After school care allows your child the opportunity to participate in fun activities such as swimming lessons, cooking, crafts, skating, out trips to local parks and other special events.
