Out of School Care

Esquimalt Recreation Centre offers Out of School Care Programs licensed by the Vancouver Island Health Authority for School Aged Care. Children ages 5-12 (must be currently attending or completed kindergarten) are eligible to participate. The Before and After School Care Program is for students attending Macaulay Elementary School, grades K-5. Everyone is welcome to attend Pro-D Days, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Camp Programs.

Before School Care

 

for Macaulay Elementary School only

Children can be dropped of at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre OSC room from 6:30am - 8:15 am. Children will have a choice of activities each morning inlcuding crafts, board games, creative play and other quiet games. Children are welcome to bring their own breakfast if they choose. OSC Staff will walk each group to Macaulay School for the start of the school day.

Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.

$100 per month

 
After School Care

for Macaulay Elementary School only

Children are greeted by OSC Staff at Macaulay School at the end of the school day and have an opportunity for playground time until 3:15pm each day prior to walking back to the Esquimalt Recreation Centre where a healthy afternoon snack is provided. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities such as swimming, cooking, crafts, science, gym games, out trips to local parks and other special events.

Monday to Friday: 2:48 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Cost

$250 per month
