Skating & Curling Programs at the

Archie Browning Sports Centre

Esquimalt Parks & Recreation offers great registered and drop-in programs for preschoolers, children, teens, adults and seniors in both our skating and curling rinks. Figure skating, hockey skills, power skating and novice curling are a sample of our programs. Our Passport to Skating program includes six levels and is suitable for both preschoolers and school-aged children.

New Fall Programs!

Skate, Story & Snack (3-5yrs)This program is designed for those little ones that are a little unsure about being on the ice and need an extra incentive. Join our ice program staff on the ice for preschool skating lessons followed by a short story and snack in the lobby.

Wednesdays 10:30am - 11:15am        or        Thursdays 1:45pm - 2:30pm

Strengthening Skating Skills (2yrs+)
Build on beginner's skating skills: improve hockey skating agility, balance and control; learn figure skating edges, jumps and spins. 45 minute group lessons with skating instruction by certified Skate Canada coaches.

Thursdays 5:05pm - 5:50pm
