The Township of Esquimalt is pleased to announce Robin Middleton as its new Chief Financial Officer and Director of Financial Services effective February 22^nd, 2010. Robin is a chartered accountant with significant experience in strategic financial planning and budgetary management within complex organizations.

“Robin brings a wealth of senior project management experience in the financial management sector to the Township,” said Chief Administrative Officer Laurie Hurst. “She will play a critical role in providing leadership and helping to set financial strategic direction for the municipality.”

Robin will take over from Mary Turner, who has been the Township’s acting Director of Financial Services for the past year. “We are grateful to Mary for her outstanding efforts during the interim period,” said Hurst.

Robin Middleton has previously held senior financial management positions at BC Ferries, Tourism British Columbia and KPMG LLP, a global network of firms providing audit, tax and advisory services.
