Esquimalt's Lantern Festival is back and moving from fall to summer! Enjoy an enchanting evening of music, light and magic at the 2015 Esquimalt Lantern Festival.
What: Esquimalt Lantern Festival
Where: Captain Jacobson Park, 503 Head Street, Esquimalt.
When: Saturday, August 22, 2015, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Bring along your own lantern and join in the light procession winding along the West Bay Walkway to Barnard Park, then return back to Captain Jacobson Park where the festivities will continue for the remainder of the evening. Please join us for this free, family friendly event, which features kids activities, belly dancers, fire dancers and live music.
NEW! Lantern Making Workshop
Please join the Esquimalt Parks & Recreation staff on Tuesday, July 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Captain Jacobsen Park to make your own lantern at a FREE community lantern making workshop. All supplies provided. No pre-registration required.
Limited parking adjacent to Captain Jacobson Park. Parking available behind the Archie Browning Arena and at L’école Victor Brodeur. For the enjoyment and safety for all, we ask that you please leave your pets at home.
