Business Licenses
Application
Apply for a regular or intermunicipal business license by completing a Business License Application and submitting it with the required fees.
Business license notices are mailed at the beginning of each year to all businesses that were licensed in the preceding year. Business license fees are due by January 31st each year or by the date of original application, if later.

Please notify the Municipal Hall at 250-414-7145, if you are no longer operating a business in Esquimalt.
Transferring
- Business licenses may be transferred from one location to another for the same business. A transfer fee of $10.00 will be charged and additional license fees may be required if the license fee criteria are different in the new location.
- A business license is not transferable from one business to another business.
